Archibalds Durham to move to new purpose built site
The final details are being put in place for Archibalds head office in Durham to move to an adjacent, newly refurbished unit. The new development will provide improved access and customer service along with an expanded product offer that will include Sustainable Solutions.
The current time frame will see the new unit fitted out by September 2010. The demolition of the existing office and trade counter to create a new heavyside product yard will be completed and fully operational by January 2011.
Archibalds Leeds join forces with ‘sister brand’ LBS Pudsey
In an effort to further improve our range and expand our Leeds service, we will be working with our colleagues at Local Building Supplies to improve the facilities available at the Pudsey site.
Improvements have already been made to the layout and racking in the collect areas of the Local Building Supplies branch. Plans are also in place to further develop their yards to improve the location and service offer of the specialist brick and landscaping departments. These improvements will create essential space for Archibalds Leeds to move stock to service our civil engineers, ground workers, sub contractors and large local and national home builders.
Local Building Supplies have been part of the Archibalds business since January 2009. Both Archibalds and Local Building Supplies are part of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution, Europe’s leading building materials distributor.
